Thus this year we will be taking on topics in our Sunday morning 9:00 am studies that explore our Lutheran heritage and its continuing relevance for us today as 21st century Christians.
The Word Endures: Lessons from Luther Yesterday and Today
In 1530 the Reformation of the Christian church was in full swing. Martin Luther’s popularity had pushed his writings to the top of the best-seller list. What if you had a chance to hear him speak? What if you could sit at the feet of this scholar of Scripture who taught crowds of princes as well as peasants? Well, you can. In our upcoming Bible study you will engage with this master teacher in the study of topics such as prayer, marriage, the Lord’s Supper, teaching children, and more—topics still at the heart of your Christian faith today.

Abiding Hope Lutheran Church stands to glorify God by sharing the message of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ with our community and world by teaching and equipping our members with the inerrant Word of God.
Welcome to all - both visitor and member alike! May our ever-giving and gracious God fill your heart with joy, peace and hope through the message of forgiveness in our living Savior, Jesus Christ!
The Lutheran church is a liturgical church, Lutherans believe that the gospel is not only good news that Jesus has saved sinners, but also a power God uses to create and strengthen faith in Jesus. Lutheran worship places the gospel in central focus in an order of service called the liturgy. In message and meal (Holy Communion), in specially selected Bible readings, and in carefully crafted songs, prayers, and confessions, the liturgy points to Jesus as the Savior of all.
Abiding Hope is part of a group of more than 1200 churches called the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod or WELS with congregations in all fifty states, as well as Canada and Mexico. The WELS also serves over 26 other countries through world mission work. To learn what we believe please arrange a visit with our pastor.
